First Cast - Youth Fishing School
Miramichi Black Rapids Lodge is partnering with the Miramichi Salmon Association's "First Cast" program as the host site in the Blackville area. This program provides new venues for youth to learn about salmon angling, while alleviating the demand their traditional one-week Youth Fishing Course cannot accommodate. Offering a 3 night package for a youth/adult combination, adults can enjoy fishing the private waters at Miramichi Black Rapids Lodge while the youth is taught the regular Youth Camp curriculum by our MSA instructor Grant Ross. The First Cast program is offered to youth age 10 - 14, who will share a room with their adult counterpart. While the educational program runs during the day, evenings are reserved for adult/child angling, a great way for an experienced angler to introduce a grandchild or child to salmon fishing. The First Cast itinerary is below and the price is CND $800 for a NB resident and CND $900 for a non-resident.
